I just enrolled in a plan. When does my pet’s coverage start?
How do I submit a claim?
Filing a claim is super easy, 100% digital, and requires zero paperwork.
1. Log in to your account on pumpkin.care and navigate to “Claims.”
2. Follow the prompts to enter your claim details, upload a copy or photo of your itemized vet bill (+ any relevant medical records for insurance claims), and hit submit.
3. Your claim will be processed quickly, and you’ll get an update once the review is complete.

Prefer filling out a claim the old fashion way? No problem. You can download a paper claim form from your account online and print. Once you fill it out – simply email the form along with the itemized vet bill from your vet to [email protected].
How do I submit my pet's medical records?
You can upload your pet’s medical records at the same time you submit a claim, or upload them later under your pet’s profile in your account on pumpkin.care. If we need additional medical records for your pet in order to process your claim, we will reach out to you to request those.
I submitted a claim, when will I get reimbursed?
Claims processing times will vary depending on your specific case. For the most recent status of your claim or to ask any questions, contact us and a member of our care team can help.
How do I update my profile or billing information?
To update your profile or billing info, log in to your account on pumpkin.care and navigate to the “Profile” or “Billing” page. Once there, edit your information and save any changes.
